 Computer Department Computer literacy is a must in today's world. The computer lab and curriculum are designed with the purpose of allowing the students to develop working skills in the most popular types of application software using equipment found in most businesses today. The computer lab will be open regularly during posted hours. In order to gain access to the lab, students will be required to read and sign that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy for the Maxwell Academy Computer Network. Students are encouraged to use it for doing research and assignments. Each student will have an account on the computer network. The school reserves the right to periodically check the contents of each student's folder. The same principles which guide choice of music, reading material, and other entertainment should guide a student’s use of the Internet, email, and other computer programs.This includes, but is not limited to the fact that students should not be creating or viewing anything:
Misusing the computers could result in the loss of all lab privileges. If there are any questions about procedures, students should ask the computer teacher or lab assistant. All students must sign contract before they will be able to use the Maxwell Computer System. E-Mail Accounts
