To everyone interested in Maxwell Adventist Academy:

I understand how the mention of change can cause concern and would like to reassure the parents of current students, prospective students and interested parties that Maxwell is adjusting its curriculum to be more internationally friendly, but will maintain as much of its current "flavor" as possible. Our philosophy, mission and goals remain essentially unchanged. We will still provide an Adventist education geared to meet the unique needs of missionary children as well as other Christian young people who want an international college preparatory diploma.

Maxwell is not closing. We are not abandoning our current students. The American curriculum will be phased out over the next three years while the new one is phased in. Changing from the American system to an international system can utilize qualified local teachers that will help us meet the financial challenge that the reduction of IDE budgets presents. I want to emphasize that we are committed to continue offering a sound, high quality, Christian educational experience.
